About The Coach- Lola
Funmilola 'Lola' Aje is an executive Coach focused on growth. She does this through Career Coaching, Leadership Coaching, and Personal Development Coaching and training for students, leaders, teams, and organizations. She is the founder of Growth Focused Coaching, LLC. Lola partners with her clients to ensure that the roadblocks, challenges, and triumphs they encounter are a part of their growth experience.
Lola believes that growth is fundamental to living your best life, and she is passionate about helping people in the development of self-awareness and improved self-management to ensure they are growing in every season and every area of their lives. Lola sees every experience as an opportunity for growth and development. Lola's passion lies in understanding and developing people. She has a deep belief in the power of human potential, and she loves helping people discover how to be their personal best. Her strong, persistent, charismatic nature and positive outlook give a holistic and balanced approach to her coaching style and life.
Lola is a Higher Education Professional with a master's in Higher Education (Student Affairs) Administration from the University of North Texas. She works in the career center at UNT, supporting students in defining, choosing & planning their college & career goals. Lola is a certified trainer for the EQi 2.0, an assessment tool on Emotional Intelligence. In addition, she is a certified consultant for the Highlands Ability Battery (HAB) Assessment, a career assessment designed to reveal your Natural Abilities with incredible accuracy. She obtained her Coach training from one of the top executive coaching schools – The College of Executive Coaching, Santa Barbara, California. Lola is a Professional Credential member (PCC) of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is a pioneer with the ICF as the first resident Nigerian to register with the organization. She is also an Associate (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
